Turn a hand sketch, a photo or scan of a floor plan, or a short description into a clean, layered and dimensioned CAD floor plan. The drawing is inserted into your drawing as a block, with its own layers (A-WALL, A-DOOR, A-GLAZ, A-FURN, A-ANNO-DIMS, A-ANNO-TEXT ...), in your drawing's units.

Open a floor plan view first: walls are created on its level, 2.7 m high, using the basic wall type closest to each wall's thickness. Doors and windows use the first door and window families loaded in the project (swap the types afterwards); other openings become wall openings. The CAD drawing (dimensions, furniture, room labels) is imported into the view in metres.
The first command opens your web browser on the Plan Chat sign-in page. Sign in (email or Google) or create an account,
then click Continue in Revit. The sign-in is passed to Revit on your own computer (127.0.0.1) and kept in
%USERPROFILE%\.planchat\credentials.json for 60 days. It is shared with the other Plan Chat plugins
(AutoCAD, SketchUp, Blender, Rhino). Sign out removes it.
The plugin is free. The AI drafting uses Plan Chat credits from your account: a new drawing typically uses 700 to 1,800 credits. Some new accounts get their first design free (view it in 3D in the browser; DXF/DWG/PDF of a free design come with any plan). Plans and credit packs: cad.ai-architectures.com/pricing.
A drawing takes 1 to 4 minutes; a window shows the progress. Stop waiting closes it: the drawing continues in your account and you can insert it later with My projects. Files are saved to Documents\Plan Chat.
