Turn a hand sketch, a photo or scan of a floor plan, or a short description into a clean, layered and dimensioned CAD floor plan. The drawing is inserted into your drawing as a block, with its own layers (A-WALL, A-DOOR, A-GLAZ, A-FURN, A-ANNO-DIMS, A-ANNO-TEXT ...), in your drawing's units.

The first command opens your web browser on the Plan Chat sign-in page. Sign in (email or Google) or create an account,
then click Continue in AutoCAD. The sign-in is passed to AutoCAD on your own computer (127.0.0.1) and kept in
%USERPROFILE%\.planchat\credentials.json for 60 days. It is shared with the other Plan Chat plugins
(SketchUp, Blender, Rhino, Revit). PLANCHATLOGOUT removes it.
The plugin is free. The AI drafting uses Plan Chat credits from your account: a new drawing typically uses 700 to 1,800 credits. Some new accounts get their first design free (view it in 3D in the browser; DXF/DWG/PDF of a free design come with any plan). Plans and credit packs: cad.ai-architectures.com/pricing.
A drawing takes 1 to 4 minutes. Progress is shown on the command line. Press ESC to stop waiting: the drawing continues in
your account and you can insert it later with PLANCHATOPEN. Files are also saved to Documents\Plan Chat.
Plans are drawn in metres and scaled to your drawing's INSUNITS (mm, cm, m, inches, feet). Answer Yes to
"Explode" to get plain editable entities instead of a block. Choose feet in the PLANCHAT dialog for imperial dimensions
(drawings in inches or feet use feet automatically).
The image and text you send are used to make your drawing and are stored in your Plan Chat account, where you can delete the project at any time. Privacy policy: floorplan.ai-architectures.com/legal/privacy. Terms: cad.ai-architectures.com/terms.
